For many fashion and art fans, this is one of the most important events of the year. The event used to take place parallel to Vogue Fashion's Night Out . Now the Promenade pour un Objet d'Exception stands in its own right.

In September, the luxury shops on Königsallee will be presenting exceptional unique and vintage items in their premises for the fifth time as part of the "Promenade pour un Objet d'Exception". Based on the model of the "Promenade" on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Königsallee will be offering a high-quality supporting programme and festive receptions in all participating shops. At the same time, this will be a celebration of the German-French friendship and the uniqueness of the two luxury streets.

Musicians will play French music classics and this year, too, rickshaws will take guests on Königsallee from one shop to the next. One highlight is the "Objet d'Exception d'Art", a sculpture by the internationally renowned artist Ghada Amer, who lives and works in New York. The art installation will be exhibited in the lobby of the Steigenberger Parkhotel. Ghada Amer's work is represented in numerous museums and private collections internationally. Her works can be found in the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, among others.
