Bambi 2023 - Laura Wontorra in PIO'OKAN

We've known that two-tone looks can be real eye-catchers ever since Julia Roberts accepted her Oscar in 2001 in such a gown by Valentino. Laura Wontorra also opted for the reliable stylistic device of stark contrasts – and definitely scored with her Bambi appearance. The ensemble of a silky shimmering black evening gown and a large white wrap comes from the Düsseldorf couture atelier PIO'OKAN; the balance between the subtle non-colors and the opulent volume is convincing. The glittery shoes weren't really necessary...
