The Königsallee in Düsseldorf: Promenade pour un Objet d'Exception 2019

For many fashion and art fans, this is one of the most important events of the year. In the past, the event took place parallel to Vogue Fashion's Night Out. Now the Promenade pour un Objet d'Exception stands for itself.

In September, for the fifth time, the luxury shops on the Königsallee will present outstanding unique and vintage objects in their premises as part of the "Promenade pour un Objet d'Exception". Based on the model of the "Promenade" of the Avenue Montaigne Paris, the Königsallee offers a high-quality supporting programme and festive receptions in all participating shops. At the same time, the German-French friendship and the special nature of the two luxury streets are celebrated.

Musicians will be playing classics of French music and this year, too, rickshaws will be taking Königsallee guests from one shop to another. One highlight is the "Objet d'Exception d'Art", a sculpture by the internationally renowned artist Ghada Amer, who lives and works in New York. The art installation will be displayed in the hotel lobby of the Steigenberger Parkhotel. Ghada Amer's work is represented internationally in numerous museums and private collections. Her works are on display at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, among others.
